Our Story
We at Sun Monkey Handcrafted Soaps produce unique luxury soaps with the highest quality ingredients that leave your skin feeling divinely nourished and your senses alive.

All our soaps are made in small batches to ensure the quality of each batch. We hand mix, hand-cut, and hand package every bar produced. Every bar is given a long cure period so that when it reaches you it is mild and ready to use.

We handcrafted soap-makers generally pride ourselves on our unique recipes, developed to create our signature soaps. Soap ingredients are usually food-quality, natural ingredients starting with a variety of vegetable oils such as but not limited to; olive, coconut, palm, hemp, avocado, apricot, or almond oils. To these, we might add specialized oils, nut butter, or clay's to bring the desired qualities to the finished bar.
Either fragrance oils or plant-based essential oils are typically added for scent. For color or texture, we often use cosmetic-grade pigments or mica's, botanical's, herbs, spices, or other natural ingredients. For those with sensitivities, we also make "simple soap" with no additives or scent.

In addition to all the wonderful ingredients that may be in the handcrafted soap and the many different techniques that may be employed, perhaps the biggest advantage of handcrafted soaps is the soap-maker who invests care and attention to detail into every bar produced. When you use a bar of handcrafted soap, you can feel and know it was made with the personal touch of the soap-maker.
