This Charcoal Facial Cleansing Bar was formulated with combination skin to oily skin in mind. It contains activated charcoal, which gives the bar a rich black color. It does produce a slightly gray lather due to the large amount of charcoal used but does not stain washcloths.
The oils used in this cleansing bar were specially chosen for facial skin. A high percentage of olive oil makes the soap gentle. Palm oil makes the soap firm, while coconut oil adds cleansing properties. The castor oil helps draw moisture to the skin to keep it hydrated while adding lather and cleansing properties. Hemp oil first makes the soap feel so luxurious and secondly, its high level of unsaturated fatty acids gives it great moisturizing abilities which adds to the conditioning nature of the soap. Lastly, the lemon essential oil adds a touch of freshness and an astringent ability to tighten pores of the skin.
